Ricoma are experts at pretending they are experts. I bought a machine from them and these people don’t know anything. You’re better off buying an anchor and putting it in your home.

Can my ricoma MT 1502 do the same?
Ricoma is a horrible company preying on the desperate. I bought a machine and never again!!! Support doesn’t know anything. They don’t care about you. Call the sales dept because that’s all they care about. Selling you trash.
Ricoma is a joke!! They sell you a $100 printer for thousands! The ink washes off like dirt. DO NOT BUY!! Their embroidery machines are over priced and cheap. Support is trash!!!

All the trimming is done during the digitizing process.

Why not just embroider the “patch” right on the hat?
There is a limit to how large a design can be embroidered. The patch can be a little bigger.

Absolutely, just make sure you properly stabilize the garment

I don’t have ricoma just a regular sewing embroidery machine. Will this work with that?
yes it will. This is an easy one to do.
Can you please update for the MT2001- The screws are different and it does not go in slot 6
Pick the cap hoop from the screen then attach the cap driver to the machine and the holes should line up.
What method would you use to transfer a design on black clothing that stretches ie compression/rash guards. Sublimation seems better; however, you stated that it cannot be used on dark/black material.
You cannot sublimate on Dark Fabrics. No tricks or hacks will work. The fabric has to be able to absorb the pigment. If it is already Dark, It will not work unfortunately
my machine is very noisy when I start it and then the frame is also off centre. Please advise

the speed of my Ricoma tc 1501 machine does not exceed 650 rpm
Depending on what type of file you are running or stitch for that matter the machine may self regulate the speed. For simple run stitches it will go at a full 1200. For some complex fills and satins, it may slow down. If this is not the case for you, Please contact the service department so they can have a look.
